Triangular Bookmark

This Triangular Bookmark is not your typical bookmark.  To make it you start with a square piece of paper.  I used a 7" x 7" sheet.  Then do some very easy origami folds and add some sort of embellishment to dress it up.  Get creative and have fun.
 

 

 

 
Start with a square sheet of craft paper.  Thinner paper is better, card stock will be too heavy.

 
Fold paper in half to create a triangle.

 
Fold the top point of one side down to the base of the triangle.
 

 
Bring the right and left corners to the top corner to form a diamond.
 

 

 
Tuck the top ends into the pocket to form a trianglular bookmark. 
 

 

 
Decorate with a stamped image or another embellishment.  
On two of these I used a "stampin up" stamps (polka dot punches) and matching punches on card stock.  On the other, I used a button as the embellishment.
