These clip boards make fun teacher gifts.  I picked up the clip boards during a before-school sale in August.  Wal-mart was selling these for under a buck so I picked up several.  
To make these clip boards: 

1. Paint front and back of clipboard with craft paint.  Sometimes I paint the clip too.
2. Rub corners and random areas with brown ink to get an antique look.  
3. Cover with photos, quotes, and/or paper (I often “ink” the photos and papers too). 
4. Cover with a few coats of Mod Podge, letting it dry between coats.
