There is something about decoupage that I love. It is an easy but fun way to be creative. It is a great way for me to escape the stresses of life. When I do it I’m not thinking about work, laundry, kitchen chores, or whining children. It is a craft that allows me to slap on Mod Podge while I’m completely silent and focused on the paint brush or one I can do while catching up on Oprah.
These clip boards are one of my recent projects. I picked up the clip boards during a before-school sale in August. Wal-mart was selling these for under a buck so I picked up several.
To make these clip boards:
- Paint front and back of clipboard with craft paint. Sometimes I paint the clip too.
- Rub corners and random areas with brown ink to get an antique look.
- Cover with photos, quotes, and paper (I often “ink” the photos and papers too).
- Cover with a few coats of Mod Podge.
- Have Fun!!
