3-D Christmas Tree
I love this tree, but I'm not sure who to credit for this great idea. A friend showed me, who had gotten the idea from a friend, who had got the idea from a magazine, but she could not remember which magazine.
This is a simple craft but it involves a lot of cutting.
To make it you will need:
- At least 5 12 x 12 sheets of festive card stock. You can use more to make a fuller tree.
- Scissors
- Glue
- Ribbon & straight pin
- Buttons or something else to decorate tree limbs
- A pattern of half of Christmas tree. Draw one similar to the photo below. It must be no taller than 12" and no wider than 6"

To make:
- Fold each card stock sheet in half.
- Place the pattern along the FOLDED side.
- Trace this pattern on all of your sheets of paper and cut it out trees
- Keep each tree folded and glue one side of tree 1 to tree 2, then glue the other side of tree 2 to tree 3, glue the other half of tree 3 to tree 4 ... and so on.
- You will glue your last tree half to the free side of tree 1.

- You can lay tree flat to add buttons and decorations.
- Tie ribbon in a bow. Push straight pin through the ribbon
- Slide straight pin (with ribbon) into top of tree, use glue to hold in place.
